The Michigan advanced Manufacturing Sector will provide economic development and high-paying jobs in regions that suffered from an exodus of traditional Manufacturing jobs in the late 20th Century, and economic stronghold nationally. To fulfill this promise, the American workforce needs technical, training in new manufacturing technologies. According to the Manufacturing Institute and Deloitte Consulting, nearly 3.5 Million Manufacturing jobs will be filled over the next decade. Advanced Manufacturing Collaboration (MAMC) will deliver national, portable, competency-based skill certifications, aligned to secondary and post-secondary programs of study and industry-relevant training needed for employment in advanced manufacturing.

The Michigan Advanced Manufacturing Training Center will be delivering national, portable, competency-based skill certifications, aligned to secondary and post-secondary programs of study and industry relevant training needed for employment in advanced manufacturing. The equipment is the latest technology from World Leading Automation Companies such as FANUC America, Rockwell Automation, Lincoln Electric, and Parker Hannifin. The model delivers the curriculum through E-learning, hands-on learning, authentic based learning, STEM and blended learning. Stackable Industry Recognized Credentials Levels 1- 3 will be achievable through MAMC.
